When Borso was discovered, the people who found him had only a few minutes to act before the next train arrived. If they had seen him just a minute or two later, the outcome could have been much different. But they were able to rescue him just in time and bring him to a vet for treatment.
At only 8 months old, Borso had already suffered from infected eyes that required surgery. He was a friendly little boy weighing 8 kg, in need of love and care. Thanks to the hard work and dedication of the veterinarians, as well as the care and love of his rescuers, Borso made a full recovery after nearly a month of treatment.
