Bella was absolutely fatigued. Bella barely slept, according to shelter employees. She struggled to feel safe in her kennel. Her eyes begin to shut as she sits there being patted. It's lovely to watch her finally relax.

Then Bella does something really touching. She puts her head on the lap of her saviour. She is able to sleep while they travel to the vet's office. The automobile is peaceful and quiet, and the lady next to her seems nice and friendly. This was just what Bella needs. A dog's feeling of security is vital.
