Stray Cat 'Adopted by 5-Star Hotel', Enjoys Michelin Employee Meals and Has Its Own Bed – Is This Heaven?!
We've seen many stray cats earning a steady meal ticket for themselves and turning their lives around. But have you ever seen a "stray cat" living in a five-star hotel and eating Michelin staff meals?
Recently, a cat named Royce unexpectedly became famous. Many people have even visited the hotel specifically to check out this "impressive" little guy—
This tabby cat's name is Sanbai (Three Hundred), and its English name is Mr. Royce. According to the hotel staff, it stays at the hotel every day, enjoys resting on the hoods of luxury cars, and the staff restaurant even gives it food. It has been living at the hotel for two years now.
The hotel realized that this stray cat often roams nearby and could catch a cold outside, so the general manager had a bed custom-made for it, gave it the name "Royce," and even printed its exclusive name on the pillow.
The blanket and pillow on the bed are embroidered with its name, Mr. Royce.
According to the hotel staff, its English name came about because it always lies on top of luxury cars at the entrance, warming itself under them. Everyone gave it this very luxurious name, Royce, after Rolls-Royce.
As for its Chinese name, Sanbai, it is said that when it was young, it would scratch people because it was shy. Those scratched had to get rabies shots, which cost 300 yuan each, so it was named Sanbai (Three Hundred).
After Royce was taken in by the hotel, to avoid disturbing guests, it was placed at the hotel entrance where security guards and bellhops stand. Every day, besides sleeping, it sometimes accompanies the security guard in standing watch.
Recently, it even brought back a little orange cat to share the food and drinks.
Due to its popularity, hotel guests have even given it red envelopes and bought pet snacks for it. It's definitely living the life of a cat winner.
This has attracted a lot of attention from netizens. Some say that this cat has been taken in, and from now on, it has no worries about food or clothing. Others say that eating Michelin-starred staff meals every day has led it to the "perfect cat life."
