Once upon a time, a tiny black and white kitten was discovered all alone and in need of love when she was just a few days old. Luckily, a city shelter took her in while she waited for someone to come to her rescue. That's when Nikki Martinez came into the picture – a kind-hearted animal rescuer and foster caregiver who decided to take her under her wing.

Being an orphaned kitten, she had a lot of obstacles to overcome without a mother to care for her. Her eyes were still closed, and her ears were perked up, making it clear that she required a lot of TLC. Thankfully, Nikki was up to the task and began bottle feeding her every few hours as well as ensuring that she was kept warm and comfortable around the clock.
