Posey walked up to her prospective mother's house with her three babies when she was still essentially a kitten herself. Posey instantly captured Claudia Wright's heart, and she made the decision to adopt her. Posey must have missed her three kittens when they became adults and had families of their own because she made the decision to go out and get another one.

Posey is now approximately 4 years old and, despite the fact that she is no longer a stray, she still enjoys going on periodic outside outings. Posey left the house one day, disappeared for a while, and when she eventually returned, she had quite the surprise in store.
