Life is such that sometimes, things can change overnight. Today, you are in a warm home full of love, and tomorrow, you lose everything. If anyone can experience such a fate, it's dogs who completely put their lives in the hands of their loving humans. 

That is why we will probably never be able to fully understand the pain these beings go through when they lose the one around whom their whole life revolves. Unfortunately, fate sometimes simply wants it to be that way.
