A mother dog with a damaged jaw had been living on the streets of a small village in India for several weeks. Despite her unkempt look, she was a kind and affectionate dog who approached anybody who approached her.

However, a concerned citizen noted that the dog's jaw was hanging crookedly and that she appeared to be in a lot of pain one day.

Closer investigation revealed that the mother Dog had a fractured jaw. Pinky, a mother dog with a badly damaged jaw, is a testament to the devotion and hard work of such groups.
