A blind dog chained outside with only a broken-down doghouse for shelter was among the 108 dogs rescued last November from Michigan's largest suspected dogfighting operation.

Bark Nation, an animal welfare organization based in Detroit with a mission to end dogfighting and save lives, rescued all of the dogs with the assistance of federal and state law enforcement.

The dogs were examined by a veterinarian, who determined that the sweet boy, who was clearly blind, had most likely lost his eyesight as a result of dogfighting trauma.
