Bella was utterly exhausted. Shelter workers told the rescuers that Bella hardly slept. She had a hard time feeling safe in her kennel. As she sits there, being pet, her eyes start to close. It's incredible to see her finally relax.

Then Bella does something so heartwarming. She places her head on her rescuer's lap. As they head to the vet's office, she is able to get some sleep. The car is calm and quiet and the woman beside her is kind and gentle. This is what Bella needed. Feeling safe is everything to a dog.
