A tabby cat was spotted prowling between homes in a Southern California community. The homeless cat dropped by a family's garden for some food and drink, and she returned several times. Her family members tried to aid her by giving her food whenever they noticed her hanging about, despite her being alone and without an apparent home.

After a time, during one of her visits to the family, the kitty approached them, asking for assistance; upon seeing her frail, they quickly realized she had given birth. They spotted two of her newborn kittens in bad health when they discovered them hidden in her garden and sought aid right away.
