Kristen ensured he received nourishment, warmth, and the additional attention that bottle-fed babies require. "While providing him with individualized care, our staff observed that he found comfort in being swaddled. It makes him feel safer and warmer," added Harvie.
He was only half the size of his siblings and needed an abundance of tender loving care. To help him get better sleep, one of his caretakers, Anjanette, used a warm blanket to offer much-needed comfort. "Having previously fostered a cat that I eventually adopted, I knew that kittens often feel cozy when swaddled. So I wrapped him up in an attempt to help him sleep," explained Anjanette.
