The girl was simply considering which puppies she would like and which would be the finest to take home. However, this dog was so eager to get out of her small prison that all he wanted to do was accompany her. In her eyes, she seemed to be ‘begging' to get out of there.

Despite the puppy's obvious sadness, both the girl and the shelter personnel found it amusing. The ‘dog' was returned to his tiny little cage after hanging to the leg for a bit.
