There, they saw a glimmer of hope in her eyes, and that was enough to motivate them to do everything to help her. She had already spent too much time in an empty house with an empty heart. 

It was time for her to feel true happiness once again. 

Road To A New Life

When the rescuers saw that they had managed to gain Amber's trust, they immediately started showering her with lots of love so that her wounds would begin to heal as soon as possible. Thus, they made her first steps on the road to full recovery easier.

They first took her to the veterinary clinic to check her health status. As they could have guessed, she had thousands of ticks on her. Aside from that, she was also diagnosed with Babesiosis – a tick-borne disease for which she received medical care.
