With lightning speed, Bella rushed to the scene. As she peered into the ditch, her heart was filled with anguish. Charlie had injured his paw and was trapped, unable to climb out of the deep hole. Bella's maternal instincts kicked in, and without a second thought, she leaped into the ditch to be with her baby.
Frantically, Bella tried to comfort Charlie, licking his wounded paw and whimpering in distress. But she knew that she couldn't free him from the ditch on her own. She barked and cried for help, hoping that someone would hear their plea.
