Eventually, John brought Uno home to nurture him at the refuge. He wasn't sure about humans or animals, but he was happy to be out of the kennel. The pup has never ran around before or even stepped on grass.

Uno was overjoyed by his new surroundings. He conveyed his thanks with a hearty hug and a smile as he leaped into John's arms. It was at that time John transitioned from foster dad to forever dad.
