Sick cat finds comfort, knowing rescuers care for her newborns

A surrogate mother

The benefactress bottle-fed them every 2.3 hours. She spent sleepless nights meeting their needs. When Tallulah returned, Elke continued to look after the little ones. On the one hand, their mother was no longer producing milk and could no longer feed them, on the other hand, the rescuer was not sure that she would agree to return to her kittens.

Finally, when Tallulah recovered, her udders filled up. She was able to provide for the needs of her kittens, but Elke wanted to give her the choice so as not to rush her. She put her back with her babies to try, and the cat naturally moved closer to them, resuming her duties as super-mom. The members of the small family were able to start a new beginning. They flourished over the days and were put up for adoption.
