Despite all of his suffering, Isumu's eyes still held a spark of life, and he still had the potential to experience fear, humility, and hope. He prayed to God that someone would come to his help and save him from his anguish.

He was found by a volunteer in the shelter. He took Isumu to the shelter, where he received medical care and was given a comfortable bed to sleep in. Isumu is washed and cleansed of wounds. He was given food and drink, and for the first time in a long time, he felt cared for and loved.

Day 10: Isumu began to recover. His wounds started to repair, and his fur began to grow back. He no longer smelt like rotten flesh, and his eyes started to glow with delight and contentment.
