We immediately brought the puppy inside to examine him. He was in a lot of pain, and we could see he was scared. We tried to calm him down, but it was clear that he needed more help than we could offer. As a result, we decided to take him to the vet for a more thorough inspection.

We were relieved to learn that he had no bone break at the vet. However, the vet feared that he had a spinal cord injury that had impacted his nerves. The veterinarian provided medication to help with the pain and inflammation in Lucky's spinal cord, but despite the prescription, Lucky continued to weep and was unable to stand.
