Binky was in poor health; he had overgrown nails, rotten teeth, was extremely matted, underweight, and flea-infested. In accordance with a Facebook post, the shelter shaved his fur, examined him, and offered the old dog life-saving care.

While cleaning up Binky, they came across a microchip. They scanned it to determine the dog's owner. and were shocked to discover Binky had been gone for three years!
