Understandably, Missy spent the first few days hiding in her room, taking short trips to explore every nook and cranny, taking her time to get used to her new surroundings.

And before long Melissa had Missy quite literally eating out of her hand. And by day four, the once-frightened feline allowed Melissa to pet her head.
