We have all heard of, perhaps even seen, stories of animals ᴍᴏᴜʀɴing the ʟᴏss of a loved one. Dog's trying to get a response from a fᴀʟʟᴇɴ companion, an elephant ᴍᴏᴜʀɴing the ʟᴏss of a baby calf. But rarely do we hear stories of house cats doing something similar. A sᴛʀᴀʏ cat in China is about to change that. In the story below we see a cat who, despite being very sᴀᴅ, still tries to hug her friend's ᴅᴇᴀᴅ body.

According to viewer accounts, the white and orange cat stood on top of her friend's ʟɪfᴇʟᴇss body and tried to ʀᴇᴠɪᴠᴇ her. The cat didn't seem to know his friend was ᴅᴇᴀᴅ. He's still thinking his friend is sleeping and trying to drag him somewhere safe. In ᴅᴇsᴘᴇʀᴀᴛɪᴏɴ, the cat took the ʟɪᴍᴘ ᴄᴏʀᴘsᴇ to its mouth and began to drag her to a nearby sʜᴇʟᴛᴇʀ for help.
